Excited to join this community 👋

My name is Riikka and I currently work as Head of People at a start-up called Ember. I’m the very first People person so setting up the function almost from scratch but luckily I have an amazing recruiter in the team to support with Talent Acquisition!  We’re technically London-based but we have quite distributed workforce all over UK, Ireland and Estonia so far - in fact, only around 40% of our employees are in London. That said, we work in a flexible hybrid way and trying to get everyone together every now and then.

Whilst at Ember we launched Bob only quite recently, I’ve used it over 2.5 years now in my previous roles and I’ve seen such an amazing journey with new features and improvements! Absolutely love Bob and even to the point that it has been one of the deciding factors for me when choosing whether I want to join a new company or not 😅

I’m Katy and I’m HR Manager for ExtraMile Communications, a Digital Marketing agency based in Staffordshire UK. We’re a company of 24 staff and growing. I’ve been working at ExtraMile for 6 years, fully focusing on HR for the last 2 and I’m currently studying my Level 5 CIPD.

I’m getting underway with implementing HiBob at the moment - very excited to see how it fits with our business (looking good so far 😀).

Hi everyone!

I am the Director of Information Technology at Odyssey Therapeutics. We are a biotechnology company, based in Boston, MA, with offices in the US and Europe. Bob was (and continues to be!) an integral component in our growth, enabling efficient onboarding of new employees from nearly Day 1. This was the first major system that we implemented and it has paid significant dividends. 

Though we have been a customer for over a year, looking to get more engaged in the Bob community and excited to learn from other admins here.

I’m Chris! I’m HR Business Partner at Enable, a charity based in London focused on working with, and strengthening communities.

I’m very new to Bob, but loving it so far! Looking forward to simplifying our current processes and utilising the on-boarding features.

We are coming from a fairly basic HRIS system, so if anyone has any tips/tricks/pointers they’ve learnt during the implementation stage for getting the most out of HiBob, let me know :)
