Prevent users requesting more days than entitled

To do this go to Time Off → Time off Setting → Policies → select the appropriate policy from the list → Actions → Edit → go to the ‘balance limits’ step → ensure that the Allow employees to go into a negative balance feature is toggled OFF
 


This will ensure that employees can't request more days than they are entitled to, stopping them from going into a negative balance.

Hi,

I am encountering an issue when setting up the time off policies. Even though I have set the minimum balance cap at 0 as described in the post above it is still possible for people to request more days than they are entitled to. Do I need to be aware of something else to prevent that from being possible?

I was requested to create a sickness policy for USA employees

and after 1 year they can carry over the previews balance but can use only X days .

for example 

Carry Over

Yes - all days

 

 

 

Notes
Limit days of sick time you can take to 7 days total per year
