Permissions required to assign Attendance Policies

To let a user assign people to attendance policies, make sure they have both of these permissions:

  1. People’s data > People > Attendance Policies > Edit selected employees' Attendance Policies sections

  2. Features > Time & Attendance > Settings > Manage attendance policies

 

 

 

Example case

You want the UK HR team to assign attendance policies only to UK-based employees.

  1. Create a custom Permission Group.

  2. Add the UK HR team as members, either with automatic conditions or by selecting them manually.

  3. Grant them the permissions to:

  4. Edit selected employees' Attendance Policies sections

  5. Manage attendance policies

  6. Under People’s data > Access data for, define who they can manage.

  7. Use a condition like 'Site - Equals - UK' to limit access.

Can I check if this is still the case to have permission to assign attendance policies?

I am looking for permission to assign attendance policies during the new hire flow but not give access to the settings and create new attendance policies.
