Bob Access Stages for a New Hires

New hires won't have access to Bob until their official start date. Before that, they'll only see the Onboarding flow.

When you add a new hire through the New Hire flow, you select the Onboarding template that the employee will receive before their start date to complete. This is just a flow that allows them to fill in some information prior to their start date (i.e. address, telephone number, banking details, etc).

Pre-onboarding is sent to the personal email that you've input into the profile when creating the employee via the New Hire flow.

Then the start date email - the email which provides the user access to Bob - will be sent to the email you've input in the work email field, and this is only sent on the date you input as "Start Date" on the New Hire flow (when you were adding the employee for the first time).

What kind of information would they be able to fill out? And how is the pre-onboarding flow developed and sent out? I was specifically told that new hires are not able to view or complete any tasks until their start date.

Hi @Marialena Kalaboka! The pre-onboarding flow will provide new hires with the opportunity to add in any additional information for their Bob profile like address, banking information, etc. This will not include tasks to complete since they are not officially logging in yet.
On the users start date, they can login for the first time and complete any tasks by navigating to their ‘My Tasks’ page.

We are doing it with every hire and starting the preboarding flow so they have access and can fill in their relevant information. Works good.
