Understanding the Difference: Surveys vs. Employee Lifecycle Feedback (ELF)
In the realm of employee feedback, it's important to distinguish between Surveys and Employee Lifecycle Feedback (ELF) as they serve different purposes and offer unique insights.
- Surveys are always anonymous, whereas Employee Lifecycle Feedbacks (ELFs) aren't.
- An ELF is conducted on a case by case basis for employees at different stages of their lifecycle in the company (e.g. onboarding, offboarding), whereas surveys should be done for a company as a whole to gauge employee satisfaction/engagement.
- Regarding results: Surveys these will be displayed in groupings (such as per Department/Manager/or whichever Group By is selected at the beginning in the Survey's set up), whereas you can see these per employee feedback or collated per form for ELFs.
