Numbers in brackets in response breakdown

The number you see in the brackets is the number of answered questions and not participants.

This means that for all the questions that the form contained, the number in the brackets represents the total number of responses submitted by the group.

e.g. in the screenshot below, the total number of answers submitted by employee’s from the Operation team is 100. Out of the 100 the breakdown of the answers:
6 questions received a negative score, 37 questions received moderate answers, and 57 questions received positive scores.

Hi Naama

Number of answered questions. How can that number be 100 when there’s only 46 participants?

Furthermore, can you let me know how a manager can get a complete overview over our two surveys? I have e.g. Claus Witt-Jespersen who can only see this overview (see picture).

Hi @Line Bliesman :)

Notice that the category has 5 questions in total.
However, if not all questions were completed, which can happen, it means that the you need to refer to the number of responses (answers submitted to the questions in the category) and not the number of participants who submitted their survey forms.

As for the second question about the manager’s view, the answer is yes.
When you create a sharing group, when the manager access the results they see the same dashboard but only for the employee’s results they have permission to see.
For more information about sharing survey results, you can refer to the Help Center guide on How to share company survey results

Hope this help!

Hi Naama,
Im not sure I understand how I can use this information/draw any conclusions whitout knowing how many people actually answered in each department`?

Thanks a lot for clarification! 🙏

Hi @MoBra

On the initial page of the Survey, on the Participation tab, there is the Response breakdown to the right.

Once selected, you can group the responses by Department:

Allowing you to see how many people have responded to the Survey,

The answers themselves have an extra layer of privacy.
