When setting up sharing groups for Company Surveys, you can use various filtering options to refine your results. Here’s a breakdown of each filter and how it works:

1. Is

  • Shows results that exactly match the specified value.

  • Example: "Reports to > Is > John" → Displays only employees who report directly to John.

2. Is not

  • Displays results that do not match the specified value.

  • Example: "Reports to > Is not > John" → Shows all employees who do not report directly to John.

3. Indirectly

  • Includes results that are related but not directly matched to the specified value.

  • Example: "Reports to > Indirectly > John" → Includes both direct and indirect reports of John.

4. Exists

  • Filters for results where the field has any value (not empty).

  • Example: "Reports to > Exists" → Shows all employees who have a manager assigned.

5. Does not exist

  • Displays results where the field is empty or has no value.

  • Example: "Reports to > Does not exist" → Shows all employees who do not have a manager assigned.

6. Is assigned as

  • Shows results where a specific role or tag has been assigned.

  • Example: "Reports to > Is assigned as" → Displays all employees who are managers in the company.

7. Is not assigned as

  • Filters results where a specific role or tag is not assigned.

  • Example: "Reports to > Is not assigned as" → Shows all employees who are not managers.

8. Same as viewer

  • Filters results based on the current viewer’s attributes.

  • Example: "Reports to > Same as viewer" → Shows results where the manager field matches the current user’s profile.

9. Is viewer

  • Displays results where the field matches the current viewer.

  • Example: "Reports to > Is viewer" → Shows employees where the "Reports to" field matches the current user (i.e., the viewer’s direct reports).

10. Indirect to viewer

  • Includes results that have an indirect relation to the viewer.

  • Example: "Reports to > Indirect to viewer" → Displays all direct and indirect reports of the current user.

With these filtering options, you can customize how company survey groups are shared, ensuring that the right employees are included based on their reporting relationships. Let us know if you have any questions!
