Syncing Your Organisational Structure To Payroll

Keep your organisational structure aligned between Bob and UK Payroll by setting up matching fields and values in both systems.

Before syncing, make sure the organisational structure in UK Payroll mirrors the structure you use in Bob. The sync pairs matching values—it cannot create new organisational structure values in UK Payroll.

For each level of your organisational structure:

1. In UK Payroll settings, create a custom field to represent the relevant organisational structure level, for example:
   • Location
   • Departments
   • Any other organisational level you need to sync
2. Within each level, enter the required values to create the list of options matching Bob.
3. Repeat this for each organisational structure level you want to sync.

Remember, both the custom field name and the items in the list must match Bob exactly, in order to sync successfully.
