Users need Edit permission to view sensitive fields. View-only permission is not sufficient.
The original FLP design removed the special logic for sensitive fields. However, this caused issues in workflows and other areas that relied on this logic.
As a result, the existing permission logic was kept. To view sensitive fields, users still need Edit permission.
This applies to:
- SSN
- Date of birth
- Change type in the Work table
- Spouse birth date
