Talent - Permissions to use 1-on-1s feature and view the report

The way the system works is if you have direct reports then you will automatically have permission to view the 1-on-1 feature.

You can also grant employees permission to view the 1-on-1 report by going to Settings > Permission Group > Select the group > Edit > People’s data > 1-on-1s > Then grant the permissions to “See selected people's 1-on-1s.”

You will also need to grant permission to view reports under “Features” > Reports > View reports according to people''s data access rights

Hi @Ben Edwards,

How does this look like in Bob? I am a super admin but I cannot see/find other’s 1-on-1’s. It is important for many of our HR reps to be able to see employee’s  and manager’s notes from the 1-on-1s.

Best regards,
Liv Söderqvist

For the annual performance review, as an HR can we create individual meeting for an employee (1-on-1).
It well help us (HR), to take notes during the annual performance review with the employee, his manager and us (HR) ?

Hi @Liv Söderqvist and @Aurélie  👋🏻

1-on-1’s are only available for managers and their direct reports, and so it is not possible for admins to view the 1-on-1’s of other managers or schedule 1-on-1’s with employees who are not their own direct reports.

To do this, you would need to log in and the manager to view their 1-on-1’s.

We do have an FR for this functionality, and I have added you both to this. 😊

Hello @Jessica Lane

I’m not sure what’s an “FR” (functionality request?), but I would like also to follow that topic around 1-on-1s.

Thx

We urgently need this feature as well. @Jessica Lane Can you show us how to do that?

@Lisa Wäntig Hi! No action needed on your end, we’ll go ahead and add you on our end 😊

Hi @Kiare Tavarez . Please let me know as well when it has been added. Have a nice day

You can also check in with your CSM for the progress of feature requests. 😊

@Jessica Lane Who is our CSM?

Lindsay Sinenberg

Hi @Lisa Wäntig! Your CSM is @Eve Howard and she’ll be able to provide you with any potential timeframe changes with Product for the feature requests your company needs 😊

Could i also request that functionality?

Hi,

Could I be added to this FR as well @Lindsay Sinenberg?

@Netta Brodsky we would need this too please! thanks

@Netta Brodsky Hello we would like to be added to this FR also. Thanks Sarah-Jane

Josh Blinston Jones

@Carla Lopes Can I be added to this FR?

@Customer Experience Team please can I be added to this FR? we would really benefit from this and the settings are slightly misleading in saying admins can create 1-on-1 meetings with employees and see 1-on-1’s

Josh Blinston Jones

FYI - there is a report that is run from Analytics where you can see 1-on-1s (but it’s in a spreadsheet format and not the most accessible)

Hello,

I’m an admin and recently created a test 1-on-1 meeting to explore the reporting feature. However, when I try to run the report, it doesn’t return any data.

Could you please clarify how this reporting works? We’d like to track whether our managers are actively using the 1-on-1 meetings feature.

Thanks

Hi @Mariia Kulikova

I saw that you sent in a ticket to our Support team regarding this, the below was the answer - thought I would share with the Community incase anyone was curious:

I’ve tested this on my demo environment, and it appears that the condition “Meeting status equals Active” does not return any data, regardless of the time frame selected.

To retrieve meeting data successfully, I recommend the following:

  • Remove the “Meeting status equals Active” condition.
  • Adjust the time frame to cover at least the last 365 days—this should ensure all meetings are pulled.
  • Instead of the current status condition, try using the one shown in the screenshot I shared. It works effectively for pulling meeting data.

Hello, does this issue have a solution already? We are thinking about pushing the managers to use this functionality, so we have access in case anyone leaves, anything needs to escalate. And it’s pointless if we don’t have access to the notes.

Hi @Milagros Leanes Thanks so much for sharing your feedback and feature ideas. We appreciate your insights! The best next step would be to share this directly with your CSM. They’ll ensure the full context is captured and keep you informed as things develop.

Hi Harshil, I want to be added to the FR please.
