While the cycle is running, managers and admins can View, Nudge and Allow [employee] to edit their submitted reviews, using the 3 dots function next to the employee's name.

As a Manager

  • From the top left, clicking on Bob products
  • Select Talent
  • You will find in the left menu the option Performance
  • Select My reviews
  • Click on the tab My team
  • Select Nudge [employee] that hasn’t submitted their review
  • Alternatively, it’s also possible for managers to View or Allow [employee] to edit reviews

As an Admin

While the cycle is running, admins can View, Nudge and Remove from Cycle by:

  • From the top left, clicking on Bob products
  • Select Talent
  • You will find in the left menu the option Performance
  • Select Manage cycles
  • Click on the cycle
  • Select View (only available for employees who have submitted their review), Allow [employee] to Edit or Remove from Cycle

Hi, what does it mean if a manager doesnt have a way to nudge their employee? is it a permission issue?

@Lior Kiesler There is no separate permission for Managers to allow employees to nudge for performance reviews. As long as they have visibility they should be able to see that option under thei profile > Talent > Performance > My Team section.

How may I grant access to the employee who did not manage to fill in their self-review in the dates the self-review was taking place? The whole performance review is still running

hi @EABarysheva

To grant access to an employee who did not manage to fill in their self-review during the designated dates, while the performance review cycle is still running, you can follow these steps:

As a Manager:

  1. Navigate to Bob products from the top left corner.
  2. Select Talent.
  3. In the left menu, choose Performance.
  4. Go to My reviews.
  5. Click on the My team tab.
  6. Locate the relevant cycle and the employee's self-review.
  7. Click on the three dots next to the review and select Allow [employee] to Edit

As an Admin:

  1. Navigate to Bob products from the top left corner.
  2. Select Talent.
  3. In the left menu, choose Performance.
  4. Go to Manage cycles.
  5. Click on the intended cycle.
  6. In the Employee column, find the self-review that needs editing.
  7. Click on the three dots next to the review and select Allow [employee] to Edit

These actions will unlock the self-review form for the employee, enabling them to complete it while the cycle is still active.

What if the cycle has closed? I see that I can still let the Manager edit their review but not the employee.

@Maital Terdiman @hibobteam

I’m currently having a performance reivew cycle and I cannot open the self-review after deadline! This is really urgent as I have 40 employees expecting I would give them permission to write their review today.

Hi @Julie Møller

It looks like from your screenshot that the self-review ran from the dates 8.1 - 16.1 - meaning it is no longer running.

You will need to re-open the cycle to allow for the editing 🤓

Thank you! 🙌

I have the same issue now. It seems that if the (in this case) self review deadline has passed, I cannot give them access even if the overall cycle is still running. My fix now that seems to be working was to edit the whole cycle, and change the deadline of the self review form. This should not be necessary, it would be much better to give individual access to answer/edit after the deadline has passed (given that the cycle is still running of course). It would feel much “safer” than editing the whole thing, potentially impacting all employees in the cycle.
