Employees See Blank reviews Instead of Feedback Comments

If an employee receives a notification that feedback was shared but only sees blank review form instead of comments, it usually means the feedback categories are set to be visible to managers only.

This happens when one or more categories in the feedback form are marked as private. Managers can submit feedback as usual, and employees still get the email notification, but the actual content stays hidden.

To fix this, head to Manage cycles and open the relevant feedback cycle. Go to the Forms section, find the manager feedback form, and click the three dots next to it. Select Edit.

Review the categories in the form and look for any marked as private. Click the pencil icon on those categories and clear the option Restrict visibility to managers only. Save your changes.

Once the category visibility is updated, the employee will be able to see the feedback comments that were previously showing as blank gray boxes.

I have tried this with my situation, but I can’t see any private fields in the manager form (infact I am not even sure how to make a private field.

Would appreciate any help!
