The Learning dashboard includes all employees who had access to Learning during the selected time period.
When you filter the dashboard (for example, “Last 12 months”), the user count reflects anyone who had access to Learning at any point during that time frame. This includes both active employees and those who have since left the company.
This is why the number in the Learning dashboard can be higher than your current total employee count.
In addition, the Engaged learners metric includes any users who made progress in any course or were marked "Present" in any live session during the selected time period, even if they are no longer active employees.
