Export data report on job catalogue with assigned employees

We cannot export the assigned employees from the Job section of the Job catalogue in a report.

However, you can create a report for the assigned jobs separately, we can head over to Analytics > +Add New > Report > Start from scratch > General report > select the following fields (and any other fields you find relevant) :

Then click generate, and you should have a report including all the currently assigned jobs, for each employee.

Thank you for posting this! I’ve had this same thought since implementing the job catalogue. Do you have any other identifiers in the Job Catalogue? We put Internal job codes and band identifiers in the job catalogue, but it seems there isn’t a good way to access to that data, only from the job catalogue itself and that data can’t be combined with employee data in Analytics. I have no way to do a Vlookup either to combine the two spreadsheets. Even ‘Job Name’ from the Job Catalogue isn’t available to make a report from I’m thinking internal job codes and other identifiers will need to be copied into the employee profile as well?

Hi!

Is there ETA on creating general reports for the Job table? As in, with the fields (attributes) being separate columns instead of a string in one long line?
That would be immensely useful for reporting and also for other modules as well.

Hi @PaulinaLipinska - Thanks for sharing your feedback! 🙏🏻

We already have a product feedback request open for this topic, and I’ve added your input to the existing request.

As for an ETA, I recommend reaching out to your CSM - they’ll be able to share more details about the timelines for upcoming feature releases.

The report referenced in this thread only displays employees with the lifecycle status of “employed” whereas we also need to report on “hired” employees job details. Even if I run a point in time report in the future (after the effective dates for the job details) the values do not populate. Do you know how/when we will be able to report on ‘hired’ status job details? thanks
