Bob integrations generally fall into three categories: out-of-the-box integrations, partner integrations, and third-party integrations. Understanding the difference can help you know what level of support and visibility to expect:
1. Out-of-the-box integrations: built entirely by Bob. These integrations are designed, developed, and maintained by our product teams and are fully supported by HiBob.
2. Partner integrations: built by official HiBob partners. In these cases, the partner develops the integration using Bob’s public API and maintains it on their side. While the integration isn’t built by Bob, the partner works closely with HiBob and is listed as an official partner.
3. Third-party integrations: because Bob’s API is public, third-party integrations can also exist. These are integrations created by external vendors that are not official HiBob partners. While they may connect successfully to Bob, they are not reviewed, supported, or maintained by HiBob.
You can find the official HiBob Marketplace here, which includes both Bob-built integrations and integrations developed by official partners: HiBob MarketPlace. All official integrations are available directly wtihin your own Bob's Marketplace as well.

In principle, both partner integrations and third-party integrations connect to Bob using a Service User, however, some can be connected via Webhooks or SFTP, as covered in this article: Creating a custom integration
If your integration seems configured correctly but you are still encountering issues or errors, the next steps depend on the type of integration:
- Out-of-the-box integration (built by Bob): Contact HiBob Support for assistance.
- Partner integration: Reach out to the partner’s support team. If they determine the issue requires investigation from our end or should they require access to our logs, they must contact HiBob directly. They will have the relevant contact channels to do so.
- Third-party integration (not a partner): Contact the third-party provider’s support team directly. Since these integrations aren’t official, HiBob has limited visibility and can’t troubleshoot issues on their behalf.
