We need to use the custom table endpoint to get the ID for a custom table: Read metadata of custom tables defined (endpoint URL: https://api.hibob.com/v1/people/custom-tables/metadata)
Then, we can add the ID to this endpoint: Read all entries of the given custom table (endpoint URL: https://apidocs.hibob.com/reference/get_people-custom-tables-employee-id-custom-table-id)
For the API to view current and historical data in any table, the service user needs to have permission to both 'View sections' and 'View section histories' of that category. In the Service users permissions group > People's data > People > category containing the custom table > grant permission to 'View sections' and 'View section histories':
