When uploading a video to a Shoutout in Bob, you may see an error stating that the file exceeds the maximum allowed size of 200MB.
Why does this happen?
Videos uploaded directly to Shoutouts have a 200MB file size limit. This platform restriction cannot currently be increased or bypassed.
How can I share a larger video?
You can host the video on an external platform, such as YouTube or Vimeo, and share its link in your Shoutout:
- Upload the video to your chosen platform.
- Make sure the video’s sharing settings allow your intended audience to view it.
- Copy the video link and paste it into your Shoutout.
- Publish your Shoutout.
Your colleagues can then follow the link to watch the video.
