If you need to report on employee referrals alongside new hire details, you can store the referral information on the new hire’s employee profile and report on it from Analytics.
Currently, you can’t create a single report that combines fields from Hiring and Bob employee data. As a workaround, create an employee reference field for the referrer and capture it as part of the new hire flow.
- Go to Settings > Data management > People's data fields.
- Create a custom Employee reference field, such as Referred by, that links the new hire to the employee who referred them.
- Go to Settings > Flows > New hire flow > Categories and fields.
- Add the Referred by field to the new hire flow.
When creating the employee profile, select the employee who made the referral in the Referred by field.
Once the referral information is stored on the employee profile, you can build a report in Analytics that includes information such as:
- The new hire’s start date
- The referring employee
- Details associated with the referring employee, such as their job level
This keeps the referral information linked to the new hire’s employee record and provides a way to report on the relevant employee data without combining reports from Hiring and Bob.
