If you’re seeing extra “Effective date” fields while completing a flow, it’s usually because some fields in the flow are set as Historical.
Historical fields are designed to track changes over time. Instead of just storing a single value, they keep a record of how that value changes - using effective dates.
When you use historical fields in a flow, Bob automatically adds an “Effective date” field for each one. This is expected behaviour and ensures the system knows when each value should apply.
