Here is the flow of employee state:
- Uninvited: if the admin chooses not to invite the new hire.
- Pre-onboarding: when the onboarding invite is sent out to an EE with a future start date
- Invited: when the onboarding invite is sent out to EE with a start date of today or prior start date (start date in the past)
- Active: once the Access Invitation button on the invite notification is clicked
- Inactive: terminated employee and employees on leave if the admin chose not to keep them active in Bob.
- For employees on leave, once the admin will invite them back, they will go from invited → Active
