Dependent fields be in different categories

Two dependent fields must be in the same category, either both of them are in the same table, or both of them outside the table.

Note: If you move a field to a different category and this field is a part of a dependency, the dependency will be revoked when moving the field to another category.

Are there any plans of changing this?

Hi @Danielle Marie! This is a feature request at the moment and is under PM review. I do suggest reaching out to your CSM to let them know of this request/interest for your company and they’ll be able to provide any updates on timeframe, if changes occur. In the meantime, I’ve added your company 😊

We would like to be added to this suggestion list, it would be very helpful to be able to identify someone’s Job and have that widdle down the rest of the options.

For example, you could potentially have an IC2 Sales Job that automatically places its department, variable pay standards, etc.

You might add here, that hierarchical lists cannot have dependencies.

It would be great if dependency lists were supported in the mobile app
