Hierarchy fields in widgets

Only Hierarchy fields that are located in a table are supported in the widgets group by.

Only the field itself can be used to group by

If you want to remove some levels on the Hierarchy field from the view, you will need to use the filters in order to do so.

In my example, I want to group by Org Structure. It consists of the levels: Business Unit, Department, Cost Center. However - I would only want to group by Business Unit and not the levels below.

Is this possible with the filtering and if so, how do I do that?

I’m sure this is a very common use case as sometimes you want to differentiate only on a higher org-structure level, sometimes you want to look at the details.

​@Sonja Ölund We cannot remove the lower levels when filtering out as they are be default included. You can only separate the lowest level as single selection.

It does sounds like a great addition to our existing feature 😊
