Change the owner of a Dashboard

While you can’t transfer ownership of a dashboard, you can duplicate a dashboard that someone has shared with you and save your own copy.

For example, if an employee is leaving and would like to transfer another Admin user their dashboards, they can:

1. Share the dashboard with the other Admin;
2. The other Admin can click to duplicate this dashboard shared with them, and they will own the duplicate.

Another example, if another user owns a custom dashboard and shares it with you:

1. Find the dashboard under Shared with me.
2. Duplicate the dashboard.
3. Save the duplicated dashboard among your own dashboards.
4. You can then share your copy with other people as needed.
