Why Do I See Two Alerts for the Same Salary Increase Threshold?

When a salary increase alert is configured, the compensation worksheet may display two related alerts for the same threshold. This is expected system behavior.

When you configure an alert such as Salary increase recommendation is above X%, the worksheet can display both:

  • Total Salary increase recommendation is above X% — indicates that the overall salary recommendation exceeded the configured threshold.
  • Total Salary - Regular pay increase recommendation is above X% — highlights the Regular Pay Increase component that triggered the warning and draws attention to that column for review.

Both alerts are linked to the same validation rule and are part of the standard compensation review process. They are intended to support a complete review of the compensation changes before submitting the worksheet.

You can still submit the worksheet when these alerts appear. There is no option to disable or combine the alerts individually, as they work together as part of the compensation review.
