If you’re seeing an error when importing recommendations into a compensation event, typically for Base Salary or Bonus components, it may be due to formatting issues in the template file.
✅ What to check first

Do not edit or rename default worksheet columns
Before importing, confirm that the column names in your file exactly match the template you downloaded from the event. Any edits to these default column headers will cause the import to fail. -
Only fill in one of the two recommendation fields
In each row, you must choose only one of the following fields to enter a value:-
Amount (fixed number)

% Increase
⚠️ If both fields contain a value in the same row, the import will not be successful. The system requires a clear choice between the two.
