If you change who employees report to during a running compensation event, those changes are not reflected in the event.
The previous manager will still be the planner for the employees in question, however, what might happen is losing permission to view the payroll information of the employee, and losing the permission to edit and make changes in the compensation event.
Any previously recommended changes will not be affected if that is the case, they just won't be able to edit them anymore if the permission to view the payroll information and payroll history is lost with the manager changes.
