Rejecting a benefit request.

It's not possible to reject.

The logic behind it being that if the employee is 'eligible' to request, there is no reason they should be rejected.

If a request was made in "error" what can be done:
approve the request > go back to Manage Employees > select employee > Actions > change the status of the employee on that benefit

We would like to offer optionality to our employees with the benefits so that choice is provided between interchangeable benefits. From my investigation, it looks like this would need to be maintained manually, but the ability for employees to request benefits (with an approval step) would make the experience much more seamless.

Hi @Isabella Sharman-Firth! Love this feedback on the Benefits feature. I’m going to pass this along to our Product Team so they have the details of your use case 😊

Hi @Lindsay Sinenberg - our company would love to have functionality of self-service for employees to assign to benefits. You can put us on the list of requestors :)

Hello,

I am just implementing the benefits module and I’d like to know if we had any improvement related to this topic

@Milena Ribeiro No upcoming releases yet linked to Benefits and Self service flow.

Hi,

I have just set up the benefits, too.

However, I cannot use it for setting up/connecting them with a tasks (e.g. if an employee leaves I cannot set up a specific reminder to cancel this benefit if it is provided via an external service) or even create a (scheduled) report for the management, getting an overview which employees currently have which benefits. I only found the possibility to download a xls-file direcltly in the overview.

The management is adamant to create such things, and my current only solution was to create yet another employee field, eg. with tables - however, with these tables, I - again - cannot create a specific task (as it would not take the effective date out of the table).  I could do only a “generic” one (check benefits and if applicable...)

Any ideas for a workaround?

Hi @Katrin Musil ,Thank you for the great feedback — it's much appreciated! 🙏🏻
If you'd like to see this functionality considered in future updates, I recommend sharing more details with your CSM, especially around why it's needed and the business impact. This context really helps our product team better understand and prioritize customer needs.
