I’m interested in running an AI Academy training program. My initial thought is to have a 10-week (or similar) course with one session per week for our support functions (Finance, Legal, Procurement, HR, etc.), as the rest of our business is technical and already has that knowledge.

The idea is to teach people how to use AI effectively, potentially including how to build AI agents. Has anyone tried something similar? If so, are there any providers you would recommend that could deliver tailored training?

The goal is to take participants from having no experience with AI to becoming confident users, assuming they have no prior knowledge when they start.

Tagging our very own training village queen @Emilee Cruz - Wondering if you have any nuggets to share with Michal here?

Hi @Michal Brud

From our company’s experience, AI adoption in functions like Finance, Legal, Procurement, HR, and similar teams works best when the training is tied to practical, team-specific use cases rather than broad, abstract topics such as “how to build an AI agent.”

What has been much more effective for us is starting with a specific, well-defined process each team already owns and asking: how could AI help automate, simplify, or improve this workflow?

That does mean the training needs to be tailored for each function, because the relevant use cases will be different for different departments. So it may be worth building custom training around each team’s actual workflows. In my view, that is what helps people move from “learning about AI” to actually using AI in their day-to-day work.

I realize this may not be exactly the type of recommendation you were looking for, since you asked about ready-made providers or courses. But I thought this perspective might still be useful, especially if your main goal is not just training people on AI in general, but helping them actually adopt it in their everyday work.

Hi @Olga Frolova , I thought about that too. Many thanks - this is just an idea for now, so different perspectives are really valuable to me. Thanks for taking the time to respond to me!
