Admins can get visibility into 1-on-1 activity, but they can’t directly view employees’ 1-on-1 meeting content from employee profiles.
The 1-on-1 feature is designed with privacy in mind. Even if ״See selected people's 1-on-1s״ is enabled and your Talent settings are configured correctly, the 1-on-1 icon on an employee’s profile is only visible to the profile owner.
This applies regardless of admin permissions or access group settings and can’t be changed by adjusting permissions.
View 1-on-1 activity with a report
If you need an overview of 1-on-1 activity across your organization, use the 1-on-1s Analytics Report:
- Go to Analytics > Reports.
- Add a new report using the 1-on-1s template.
- Review the available 1-on-1 meeting activity.
- Your permission group also needs View reports, according to people's data access rights enabled under Features.
View specific 1-on-1 meeting content
If you need to see the actual meeting content for a specific employee, use Login as to access Bob from the relevant manager’s perspective.
So, if you can’t see 1-on-1s directly on employee profiles even though your permissions are configured, this is expected behavior rather than a permissions issue. Use the 1-on-1s Analytics Report for an overview of meetings, or use Login as when you need to view specific meeting content.
